Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Best Valuers collects when you contact us or request a property valuation, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We handle valuation work for families, banks, courts and overseas clients, so confidentiality is central to how we operate.

Who we are

Best Valuers is a firm of government-approved, IBBI-registered property valuers operating across India. For the purposes of this policy, Best Valuers is the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below. Our full registered office address is available on request by email.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the quote form, message us on WhatsApp, call us or send an email, we collect the details you choose to share. Typically this includes:

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect limited technical information when you visit, including your approximate location at city level, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. This comes from cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site, and an OpenAI advertising measurement pixel to understand which advertisements lead to enquiries. These tools tell us that an enquiry happened. They do not receive the contents of your valuation documents.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your details with unrelated businesses for their own marketing.

When we share information

We share personal information only where it is necessary:

WhatsApp conversations

Most of our client contact happens on WhatsApp because it is convenient for families and for clients living abroad. When you message us, your message and phone number are visible to us, and WhatsApp itself processes that conversation under its own privacy terms, which we do not control. Please do not send us information you are not comfortable placing on WhatsApp. If you prefer email or a call, we are glad to work that way instead.

How long we keep it

Valuation reports and the working papers behind them are retained for the period required of registered valuers under applicable professional and statutory rules, and to defend the report if it is later questioned by a bank, tax authority or court. Enquiries that do not become engagements are usually deleted within twenty four months. Accounting records are kept for the period required under Indian tax law.

How we protect it

Access to client documents is limited to the people working on your valuation. Reports are transmitted through business accounts rather than personal ones, and physical copies are couriered through tracked services. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures given the sensitivity of property and identity documents.

Your rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

Write to us at the email below and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity before acting, particularly where property documents are involved.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, except where a minor is named on a property document supplied to us for a valuation, in which case that information is used solely to prepare the report.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be reflected here before they take effect.

Contact us about privacy

If you have a question or a complaint about how we handle your information, please reach out. We would rather hear from you directly than have you stay concerned.
